حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، وَمَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، - وَهَذَا حَدِيثُ مَخْلَدٍ وَهُوَ الأَشْبَعُ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ اقْسِمِ الْمَالَ بَيْنَ أَهْلِ الْفَرَائِضِ عَلَى كِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَمَا تَرَكَتِ الْفَرَائِضُ فَلأَوْلَى ذَكَرٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

English Translation

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Divide the property among those whose share have been prescribed in the Book of Allah, and what remains from the prescribed shares goes to the nearest male heirs.
