حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي كَثِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ الأَنْصَارَ وَأَبْنَاءَ الأَنْصَارِ وَأَبْنَاءَ أَبْنَاءِ الأَنْصَارِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

English Translation

Kathir bin 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin 'Awf narrated from his father:

That his grandfather said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'May Allah have mercy on the Ansar, and the children of the Ansar, and the grandchildren of the Ansar.'"
