Arabic Text

وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، أَنَّ أَنَسًا، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ وَالزُّبَيْرَ بْنَ الْعَوَّامِ شَكَوَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْقَمْلَ فَرَخَّصَ لَهُمَا فِي قُمُصِ الْحَرِيرِ فِي غَزَاةٍ لَهُمَا ‏.‏

English Translation

Anas b. Malik reported that 'Abd al-Rahman b. Auf and Zu'bair. b. 'Awwam complained to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) about lice; he granted them concession to wear shirts of silk.
